Spring is finally here, and JHBG is celebrating with several gardening events this month. In addition to our planting and Tree Care activities, we are hosting Jackson Height’s Million Trees Giveaway on April 12th. Meet us at 90th and 37th Avenue, 10 AM – 1 PM 

 

Sunday, April 12 – Million Trees Giveaway, Free fruit trees are yours to plant in NYC. Pick-up your reserved tree between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Jackson Height’s composting Center, JH SCRAPS, located at 69th Street and 35th Avenue by the BQE. Please register in advance!

Saturday, April 18 – Tree Work. Meet at 80th and 37th Avenue, 10 AM – 1 PM

Saturday, April 25 – Leverich Cemetery Cleanup. Leverich St and 35th Ave, 10 AM – 1 PM
