Saturday at 10:45 and 12:15 we have a slide lecture on the history of Jackson Heights which is free. There will also be a free exhibition of vintage photos and memorabilia from 10 AM to 2 PM with original photographs, marketing brochures, and newsletters that document the early history of Jackson Heights. For just $10 there is a self-guided tour from noon to 4 PM where you are granted access to private gardens surrounded by 1920s-era garden apartments, only open to the public once a year. There are up to fifteen gardens to tour at your own pace. Rain date is Saturday, June 16th. A map is included with your ticket. Sunday we have a special guided tour of the Historic District starting at noon. Tickets are $10 and are rain or shine. You can buy them online here: Tour Tickets or on the day of the tour.
