So for 28 years, the Jackson Heights Beautification Group has been holding a Halloween Parade along 37th Avenue. Everyone knows about that, but even more fun, the night before the parade, we get together for the annual packing of the bags.
This is an amazing event. In just about an hour, a big group of volunteers comes together and packs 3,200 goodie bags. We also have people making signs and puppets for the parade. It is a true insider event. If you want to join, just show up at PS 69 at 5 PM on October 30 and have some fun.
