Mark your calendars for the upcoming Jackson Heights Orchestra concert on Wednesday March 19, 2025 at 7:30pm at Lexington School for the Deaf, 25-26 76th Street, East Elmhurst NY. There is an open parking lot in front of Lexington School for attendees to use and the school is very close to the 77 St/25 Av Q47 bus stop for those coming from Jackson Heights.
JHO Artistic Director Alex Wen has created an awesome program including the following:
1. Boulanger: D’un matin de printemps
2. Bolling: selections from “Toot Suite” featuring Julia Cohen on trumpet
3. Schumann: Symphony No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 38 (AKA the Spring Symphony)
We are very thankful to the Jackson Heights Beautification Group for making this wonderful partnership possible by working with the office of Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz to help fund this important opportunity for our community.
